Cherish the Child Conference

Only a few weeks ago we had the pleasure to work with the Maryland Coalition of Families for Children's Mental Health as a workshop at their annual conference entitled Cherish the Child. Our workshop, Embracing Empathy and Education in a World of Growing Entropy, started with a thoughtful empathy exercise before opening the floor for questions from a room of well trained local health professionals. Drawing on both our educational and personal experiences, Kristan and I greatly enjoyed starting the discussion about mental crisis from the family perspective in such a forward thinking atmosphere.
